Clothes that show off your shoulders are not allowed. The covering of the head during the ceremony is not a must. If the ceremony is conducted in the mosque you should be ready to remove your shoes when getting to the sacred place. This is as sign of purity and respect to the Allah's dwelling place. Men and women are allowed to escort the bride and the groom.
