ABOUT MUSLIM WEDDING

 Muslims also conduct wedding ceremonies just like other religions do. Islamic weddings are just a vibe in their own way. Their are do's and dont's in Islamic weddings; Food: Only hilal foods are allowed at the ceremony. Other foods like pork is not allowed. Drinks: Some drinks drinks are like alcohol is prohibited in the whole Islamic culture. Clothes: Modern clothes like long pants and skirts are allowed. Clothes that show off your shoulders are not allowed. The covering of the head during the ceremony is not a must.

If the ceremony is conducted in the mosque you should be ready to remove your shoes when getting to the sacred place. This is as sign of purity and respect to the Allah's dwelling place. Men and women are allowed to escort the bride and the groom. 

During the wedding, the bride is free to uncover her head because it is her special day unless if she has some personal issues of not uncovering her head or she is not used to. About makeup and hinna; that's a must to make her appear more beautiful. Gifts will be given to the bride mother  as a sign of thanksgiving for taking good care of the girl. And the groom will hand over a wedding ring to the bride after he has proved that the girl is a virgin to praise her for remaining pure.
